Soundcheck at the opening of the Chinese – Danish year of Tourism

Denmark, Sweden, Germany and China

These days it seems like my music is getting out to a wider audience. I’ve signed a record deal with the coolest jazz label in Germany,- Berthold Records, who have scheduled to re-release Out of the White on March 17th. We played our first concert in Hamburg, Germany, at Kulturcafe Elbphilharmonie a few weeks ago and will follow up with a longer tour in Germany in November.

Next sunday I’ll be playing in Lund with Estonian singer and violinist, Ingrid Hagel, and plans are in the making of more concerts in Sweden with my own group this summer.

And then there is China. Tomorrow I’ll be leaving to play at the Danish Embassy in Beijing as well as a puplic performance at The Georg. I’ll be playing with Neff Irizarry and I’m super excited about going.

These are truly wonderful times for me.

To move, to breathe, to fly, to float
To gain all while you give
To roam the roads of lands remote
To travel is to live.

And the best thing about traveling is… that I might meet you :0)
